Memory V5 is still in public beta. Features, pages, setup methods, and platform compatibility can change.

Current support

The full save-to-restore flow has been tested on ChatGPT Web. Codex and Gemini CLI can be tried, but Memory V5 has not yet completed its full flow test on those platforms. Other remote-MCP clients are experimental.

Keep independent copies of important material

Memory V5 should not be your only backup, password vault, legal-original repository, or sole location for high-risk material.

When task identity is unclear

If the system cannot determine which task should be restored, or a version conflict exists, it should stop and ask for an explicit choice or correction instead of guessing.

Beta changes

Pages, installation methods, compatibility, and operational details may change. Changes that affect existing user data or established continuation flows should be handled as compatibly as possible.
